This Policy Language Tools Pak is for nonresidential providers that want to update their settings’ Policy, Practices and Procedure Manual to become aligned with the  HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirements. This tool includes the following:

• A brief explanation of the pak,
• Policy language tool aligned with HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirement #1,
• Policy language tool aligned with HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirement #2,
• Policy language tool aligned with HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirement #3,
• Policy language tool aligned with HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirement #4, and
• Policy language tool aligned with HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirement #5.

This tool is designed to assist nonresidential providers update their current Policy, Practices or Procedure Manual to become aligned with HCBS Final Rule Federal Requirements. It will be delivered as a zipped file with all the tools above included in the zipped file.

Most states have their state specific forms and/or procedures to submit documents to agencies. This tool does not include any such state specific forms and/or procedures.
